One of the first fictional novels to depict a militant African American group in an era content with the principles of respectability politics, The Eye of the Panther is unlike any black civil rights organization. An activist group determined to eradicate white supremacy; they refuse to politely ask for the rights which were bestowed upon them at birth. Employing radical tactics instead of the normal non-violent tactics used by their predecessors, The Eye of the Panther will get what’s theirs without any mercy.

“The only thing a man can give up for his freedom, equality, and justice is his right to it”

Greetings from The Eye of Panther…

Who are we? Well, Let us tell you who we aren’t. We are not a peaceful organization. We are here to protect and uplift the African American community and we will do so until our last man is standing. Now that we have your attention, meet the key players…

Amare, a multi million with a childhood that still haunts him. Nadia, an ex-military with a violent past set on vengeance. Sireen, a free spire ex con with a new found purpose. Elysian, a young genius who’s no longer expecting The American Dream.

Can these four come together to form the most violent revolutionary group in the history of America, or will their different philosophies defeat them before the revolution even begins?

Though this book is short, it truly leaves an impression. I found myself getting lost in the world of the EOTP, their lives, and their mission. how this small gathering of people were forming an organization , a family, and a revolution to change the world and minds of black American.the book contains a lot of many different genres in a small package that leaves you wanting more. It adds heart to many issues we see on the news as a race and our feelings sometimes toward them. I hope everyone decides to pick up this book because it is truly amazing. I have my first edition, signed copy and I’m going to keep it. I hope to read it to my daughter, when she’s old enough. Cicely is an inspiration of the ture follow your dreams monicure. not only as a writer, and First time Author, but also asal a black woman with a story that gives an interesting message to understand….that message you have to read the book to see
