I had a blast at this event. The Eye of the Panther is my first book so I wanted to make sure I celebrated it right. My family and closest friends were there to celebrate with me. The food was great. The music was jamming and as you can see the photos came out great. I want to thank everyone who participated and helped me with this special moment

Special thanks to the best DJ in the world, DJ Kmor and the fabulous caterer Julian Harlan. You guys really helped to make the event what it was. If it wasn’t for you the Feng Shui would not have been the same. You guys are the perfect combo.

Thanks to Chyna for the makeup and for working my bootleg photo booth! Big ups to my mama for funding the party. She really helped me with the decor and the gift bags. (Really, y’all need to thank her for the gift bags. They would have never existed if it were not for her.)  I really appreciate Dallas Clark and Gio of GMXNTXLITY for helping me to set up the event.

Big ups to Lareace Miller of the Instant Tea for hosting the event. The introduction was beautiful. She also kept me calm, helped me set up & clean up.

Hosting this type of event is stressful. I wasn’t sure of all that went into a book release party. However, I was determined to make sure my guests had a great time. We started the evening with fun and good food provided by Julian Harlan’s cater company, Good Stuff Catering & Baking Co. After that, I read Chapter 1 (never again will I read a full a chapter) and I had a Q&A session. We finished the night with more fun, mingling, and photos.

Once again, thank you to everyone who came out. I really appreciate you guys for the support. I can’t wait for you to come out the second book release party for the eye of the panther.
